You are viewing a wonderful pair of large French porcelain Sevres style campana urns. They stand in at an impressive 19 inches tall making these a large pair. They each feature a profussion of vivid, intricate hand painted designs and I hope the photos do this some justice.
Each features the sumptuous panels with hand painted cherubs, Roman maidens, arabesques and floral motifs. The detail is breathtaking. The urns also feature the elegant serpent handles.
The urns also feature elegant gold leaf gilding on all parts. The hand painted gold leaf designs are also evident at other points on the urns, to make a lovely contrast with the blue.
