You are viewing an incredible pair of French Sevres manner side tables made in the main part from ormolu. The structure has been intricately crafted from ormolu with ornate cabriole legs and banding. Hopefully the photos convey the other designs and patterns to the casting.
The table top itself features a type of porcelain which has a hand painted and signed (please see close up picture) floral scene, the details of which are incredible. They are also signed – please see close up photo. I really hope the photos go some way in conveying the intricacy and detail to the hand painted parts, as these really are the work of a steady hand. You can see the scene where the man presents his lady with some flowers which she is smelling. Simply stunning. The panel has a blue border which also features intricate gold leaf designs.
The tables are offered in perfect condition and would be the talking point of any interiors scheme.
