You are viewing a gorgeous French walnut desk in the Louis XV manner. The desk has a lovely kidney bean shape to it accenuated by the burgundy leather writing surface with a gilt perimeter.
It really is a stylish piece and would work equally well in modern or older styles of interior. The piece has intricate ormolu fittings including the the female creature fixtures to the top of the legs, the protectors on the feet and of course the handles to the drawers. There are three drawers to the front allowing ample storage space. This would make a great set up for a home office, there’s plenty of space for your laptop and all your papers.
