Victorian Mahogany Partners Desk.
This Desk is of a Rounded Form.
Standing on a Plinth Base.
Circa 1850
Having an arrangement of 8 Mahogany Lined Drawers (note the finely cut details) the Bottom Right Hand Drawer being of Double size for Filing.
An unusual Feature of the desk is the 2 pull out slides with White Marble Inserts (probably used for writing in pencil)
The Reverse of the Desk having 3 working Drawers and Cupboards below.
The top of the desk features a Green Leather Writing Surface (replacement) with Hand applied Gilt and Blind tooling.
Comes in 3 Sections.
